Snorkeling on Sri Lankas South Coast Unawatuna Bay and Jungle Bay
You don't need to be a scuba diver to get to know the fascinating world underwater and its splendor. Equipped with mask, snorkel and fins you float on the water surface and watch the vibrant coral reefs, rocks and coral fishs below. An intense experience and unforgettable moments.
Unawatuna Snorkeling we provide in front of the Unawatuna Rocks within an boat ride of only five minutes and a duration of round 2 hours. The other Unawatuna Snorkeling Trip is by boat tour along the Rumassala montains of around half a hour to the Jungle Bay, close to the Galle harbour. Here you can snorkel directly from the shore and from the boat. This trip takes around 3 hours in total.

Unawatuna Bay
The Unawatuna Bay is not only a world famous beach on land, but offers a great underater experience too. With its many shallow spots, it is also the perfect place for snorkeling.
Jungle Bay
Only a few kilometers down the road, between Unawatuna and Galle, you'll find the Jungle Bay. The bay is an insider tip, with a beautiful beach and very shallow entry points - a great place for snorkeling .

Unawatuna: Our boats depart from the Unawatuna Diving Centre at 9.00 h and 14.00 h, or by appointment. Check In is at 8.30 h and 13.30 h at our Diving Centre.
